POSIX Library Icon

I'm providing a UNIX abstraction for MacOS that allows all sorts of traditional UNIX software to be ported to the Macintosh. It's misnamed “POSIX” because I began it a long time ago under the misguided idea that there is actually any open-source software that compiles against that definition— there isn't. I've used it to compile GNU gcc, libc, and currently Berkeley DB on MacOS.

Host Requirements

The NeXTStep-hosted (‘MacOS X’) CodeWarrior IDE is not currently supported. Of course, that platform has a UNIX abstration built in!
